FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY (FIST)
Faculty of Science and Industrial Technology (FIST) was established in 1 May 2008. FIST is located in Gambang, Pahang. FSTI offer the academic programmes of undergraduate and postgraduate which is encompass of four (4) programmes of Industrial Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Chemistry, Industrial Biotechnology, and Materials Technology. With over 100 staff and 1500 students, FSTI committed to provide the best services to all in line with its’ vision and mission.
VISION To be the center of reference of science and technology for industry.
MISSION We offer academic programs and activities, consultancy and R&D in science and technology, emphasizing industrial elements as required by our stakeholders.
OBJECTIVE The main objective of the faculty is to address the need for increased manpower requirements in science and technology, aligned to efforts to increase knowledgeable and competent human capital especially Research Scientist and Engineers (RSE) as well as technical support in the chemical, petrochemical, oleo-chemical and bioresource-based industries
